122d Fighter Squadron
The 122nd Fighter Squadron is an active unit of the Louisiana Air National Guard, which flies the F-15C/D Eagle. Its parent unit is the 159th Fighter Wing.
Mission
122nd Fighter Squadron (122 FS) is tasked to provide air superiority over Louisiana and the Gulf Coast while supporting USNORTHCOM and NORAD. To perform this vital role requires active air defense alert 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans.
